MAYSUNS is an alternative rock band from Alexandria, VA. With inspiration from an eclectic range of artists including Queens of the Stone Age, Jeff Buckley, and LCD Soundsystem, MAYSUNS has been writing original music since the band's inception in 2018.
The band's debut EP Game. was released in 2019 under the name Hanoi Ragmen. Their first full-length album, The Oldlight, was recorded at Bias Studios and released in 2022. The Oldlight won Best Rock Album at the 2023 Washington Area Music Awards; Foolhearted, included on the album, won Best Rock Song.
MAYSUNS returned in late 2024 with the releases of Silencer and Flatiron. In 2025, the band released their first studio EP Coloso.
The band's lineup includes vocalist and rhythm guitarist Gabriel Harr, vocalist and lead guitarist Max Powell, vocalist and bassist Beck Moniz, drummer Nathan Argust, keyboardist Shaan Shuster, and saxophonist Kostia Howard.

KINDA EVIL brews 70s-hard rock and 90s-stoner metal with an inky dash of ‘riot grrrl’ punk for searing songcraft and spellbinding shows. Appealing to listeners of The Dead Weather, Black Sabbath, Hole, and Queens of the Stone Age, KINDA EVIL severs the polarity of good and evil in a cauldron of high octane energy. Psychedelic vocals electrify tempo shifts while menacing riffs vaporize into foggy far-out ballads. Dark, potent, and bittersweet; we’re all a little evil.
